I’m a dedicated care professional with a passion for making a real difference in the lives of Seniors and those in their twilight years. As a Personal Support Worker (PSW), Community Support Worker (CSW), Development Support Worker (DSW), and Mental Health Worker with over 10 years of experience, I specialize in heartfelt care for the elderly and individuals with developmental disabilities. My most recent role was as a Resident Services Coordinator for Amica Senior Lifestyles in Victoria, BC. I’m an Honours Graduate in Community and Mental Health Support Worker Addictions (ACSW) from the class of 2014, and I take pride in offering services grounded in dignity and respect.
My experience includes creating personalized care plans, collaborating with community agencies, and being certified in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) since 2015. I also hold First Aid/CPR/AED certification from St. John Ambulance and have maintained my WHMIS certification since 2014. This, along with my volunteer work at Southlake Hospital’s HELP program, the Canadian Cancer Society, and the Special Olympics, enables me to deliver comprehensive care to those who need it most.
